Auction Site Challenge

We're coming down to the end of the Auction Site challenge.

The remaining sites in the challenge are;

Asking price for the sites for sale is $200 for sites without a logo and $225 for sites with logos.
Over time if the sites are unsold more work will go into the sites and the prices will go up.

Gas Price Website Challenge

MKA Network occasionally runs challenges for people up to the challenge.

We're currently looking for people to take up the next challenge.

Contestants will pay nothing to participate.

The websites that will be built will be a gas price finder website. We're looking for up to 10 people to run as if they owned the site. Income from the site is derived from advertising on the site. Any income created will go directly to the contestant.

The contest will be similar to The Apprentice. After the first few weeks to give the contestants a chance to get things happening the eliminations will begin.

First step will be to come up with a domain name that is available. The domain must be a .com. If within the time frame if the contestant can not come up with a domain name we will come up with one for them. Failure to come up with a domain isn't an automatic disqualification but may be a factor considered later on.

The factors we'll be using to determine who is eliminated and who moves on will include traffic, number of links to the site and buzz on the internet by users.

Contestants that are eliminated can if they wish buy the website for the cost of hosting and domain, domain will be purchased via GoDaddy for the ease of transferring ownership (most people use GoDaddy) hosting will be through AngelStarHosting. a brand new hosting account will be set up.

If the contestant chooses not to buy the site will be put up for sale. If the site sells within 30 days we'll split the profits with the contestant.

It has happened in the past we've received offers for websites active in a contest, if the site is sold the contestant will receive half the profits and be able to take over another site that has been eliminated or will be eliminated giving the contestant another chance to make more money.

We will weekly e-mail the contestants with updates, and once the eliminations start the e-mail will include who was eliminated.
